Digital Sensor TTP223B Module Capacitive Touch Switch
The TTP223B Module Capacitive Touch Sensor Switch is built around the TTP223B touch-sensing IC, eliminating the need for traditional push-button switches.
This digital capacitive touch switch module typically outputs a low signal while in a low power state. When a touch is detected on the designated circular area, it switches to a high output and enters a quick response mode. If no touch is sensed for 12 seconds, it reverts to the low power state.
When mounted on non-metallic surfaces such as plastic, glass, or acrylic, the sensor can be concealed within walls or desks. Additionally, a thin layer of non-metallic material, like paper, can cover the module, allowing it to remain hidden while still being functional at the correct touch location.
Touch Sensor Interface:
- Control Interface: The module features three pins (GND, VCC, SIG): GND connects to ground, VCC is the power supply, and SIG is the digital signal output pin.
- Power Indicator: A green LED lights up when the power is on.
- Touch Area : The touch-sensitive area resembles a fingerprint icon, designed for easy triggering with a finger.
- Positioning Holes : Four M2 screw holes with a diameter of 2.2mm facilitate easy installation and positioning of the module for inter-module combinations.
Features:
- Low power consumption
- Power supply for 2 ~ 5.5V DC
- Can replace the traditional touch of a button
- Four M2 screws positioning holes for easy installation
- Output Pin Sink Current (@ VCC = 3V, VOL = 0.6V) : 8 mA
- Output pin pull-up current (@ VCC = 3V, VOH = 2.4V) : 4 mA
