5 Reed Switch Module

KY-025 Reed Sensor Module, an electrical switch consisting of a pair of contacts on ferrous metal reeds. It gets operated by the applied magnetic field. When the device is exposed to a magnetic field, the two ferrous materials inside the switch pull together and the switch closes. When the magnetic field is removed, the reeds separate and the switch opens.

This working principle of the switch makes it great for noncontact switching applications. The Reed switch finds its application in PBX, photocopiers, washing machines, refrigerators, cameras, disinfection cabinets, doors, window magnetics, electromagnetic relays, electronic weighing, level meters, gas meters, water meters, etc.
